Our Sun Chlorella supplement is made from chlorella pyrenoidosa, a nutritionally superior species of chlorella, a freshwater single-celled green algae.
Chlorella contains 22 vitamins and minerals as well as 18 amino acids, including the 8 essential amino acids. Chlorella contains a higher concentration of chlorophyll than any plant on the planet and is the only known plant source of the vitamin B12 our bodies can digest. It also contains more protein per ounce than steak and more nucleic acids than any other food source.
Chlorella also contains the unique chlorella growth factor (CGF), demonstrated to support healthy tissue renewal, cell growth and immune health.
Our Sun Eleuthero products are made from the adaptogenic herb eleutherococcus senticosus, sometimes referred to as Siberian ginseng. Eleuthero has been demonstrated to help the body adjust to stress. It is also associated with increasing energy and alertness without stimulation or jitters.

Corporate Social Responsibility
 Investing in the health of our wider community is integral to our mission. Through our corporate social responsibility program, Sun Chlorella USA helps support non-profit organizations that work to restore vitality and wellness to our world.
In 2012 we started working with The Gentle Barn. The Gentle Barn gives sanctuary to abused and neglected animals. Tapping into the animals’ stories of survival and healing as well as their need for care, The Gentle Barn has also created a powerful companion program that helps at-risk and special needs children. Our financial donations have supported The Gentle Barn’s day-to-day activities and funded the construction of the Sun Chlorella Healing Center, a special barn designated for animal quarantine and intensive, round-the-clock care. All the animals at The Gentle Barn are nourished with the chlorella powder and REJUV-A-WAFERS we provide as in-kind donations. With this outstanding nutrition these animals are able to recover from their abuse in ways no one thought possible.
 Starting in 2013 groups of Sun Chlorella USA employees and their families have volunteered on designated days at the local homeless shelter and rehabilitation center, The Midnight Mission. Sun Chlorella USA volunteers have helped serve meals to homeless men, women and children. On one occasion, we brought our blenders, boxes of frozen fruit and chlorella granules to make Chlorella Green Machine smoothies. Finally, our financial support furthers The Midnight Mission’s work in teaching its clientele how to make healthy lifestyle choices.
